Joining Our Team
We believe in creating opportunity for both our clients and our team.
If you’d like to explore the possibilities with New Inspiration, please reach out to Greg Curtis, LICSW through the button below.
Feel free to share your initial reaction to New Inspiration and mention anything you want us to know about your professional goals.
You want to work here if:
You want to do “purely-clinical work”.
No billing, no marketing, and no more being on-hold with insurance reps. That’s right: This job has NONE of the “typical administrative tasks” that can take up about 25% of your time at a traditional practice.
No more.
This job “frees you up” from those many unpaid hours. Our therapists report feeling liberated and inspired by their work, and by the support they receive at New Inspiration. We’ve created “the ideal vehicle” for your clinical or coaching practice: Just “hop in” and you’re on your way, doing your thing!
You want to earn 2x more.
We offer twice the amount other group-practice counselors and coaches are making*.
In return, we expect you to deliver twice the value to your clients: through your relentless caring, through your skillfully help, and through your focused & hard work. The goal is not a “satisfactory experience” for your clients, but a transformative one. If you’re determined to deliver that level of value, you’re in the right place.

You want autonomy.
You seek to serve your clients with both professionalism and enthusiasm!
But this is not the right place if you’re early in your career, or you need frequent or constant supervision to perform your duties.
You’re a good fit here if you’re a leader, demonstrated in your various positions and/or celebrated by your clients and colleagues.
All of our therapists are leaders - and like all true leaders, our therapists lead by “bringing out the very best” in our clients. That’s our job.

You have an extraordinary skill set.
You can work with a wide range of disorders (or “challenges,” if you’re purely a coach).
You’re able to define 2 to 3 niches within which you are particularly inspired and effective.
Therapists will of course be fully-licensed and prepared to serve in their “areas of specialty.”
Coaches will be certified, and will NOT treat medical conditions. Instead, they’ll help healthy people to get unstuck, inspired, and moving forward with purpose and direction.
You want to work in the comfort & convenience of your home.
We work via tele-health as we have grown to the needs of our clients.
No more commuting to work. As the pandemic ebbs and flows, you’ll be working safely at home: with no exposure to the virus, and no fear of spreading it to your clients.
The “show rate” of virtual clients is remarkably high and––generally-speaking––clients like it: Our clients are reporting great results and even transformative experiences…all over tele-health.

At New Inspiration you'll be expected to:
Express and hone your talents as a helper.
You'll do this through on-going training, mindful counseling, and helpful feedback (as you wisely open up to both the feedback of your peers AND the feedback of your clients.

Document your journey with your clients.
Your documentation will “tell the story” of your co-created sessions: how you set initial goals; how you learned together; and how your client is doing between sessions (which is the truest measure of progress). You will note new insights: client insights, as well as your own observations, assessments, and plans for the course of treatment. And, inevitably, you’ll tell the story of “getting stuck” which will call for you (and your client) to get creative, to generate new insights and to chart new courses. Your final note will describe the lessons learned, the progress made, and your projections about “the work ahead.” Your note may also include plans for after-care, periodic “booster sessions,” or helpful resources and practices for the client.
Independently perform your job at very high level.
That means professional, ethical, and thoughtful interventions and timely documentation.
It means being at your best while meeting with a client, and continuing to serve them between meetings with excellent documentation, professional collaboration (when appropriate), and by “always doing the right thing” for your client, as well as for New Inspiration (it’s mission, and it’s enduring impact and reputation in the community).
In short, you’ll need to do GREAT WORK “even when nobody is looking”: especially when nobody is looking. At New Inspiration, you must do your work––generally–– independently, and always with great integrity.

Bring out the best in your clients and your colleagues.
There is no room for negativity or drama at New Inspiration. If something is bothering you professionally (or personally), reach out for support and to resolve the problem. This work is too important, and it takes too much energy for any of it to be wasted with negativity (such as rumors, complaining-just-to complain, or unexpressed resentments). None of this are part of our culture at New Inspiration: We share; we support; we make honest mistakes and learn from them; and we are open and respect each other…with mature, empathic, solution-focused discussions. You deserve to work at a place like this. And our clients need us to be at our best: as individuals, and as a team: You got it?
Good.
Help your clients to feel better & do better in their lives.
This is the most important aspect of our role!

What Our Team Members Say
"Best Decision I've Made for My Career"
I joined New Inspiration after spending years working for other practices. I was feeling overworked and burdened by the administrative parts of the job. Since joining the team, I've been able to work with the clients I choose, and focus only on doing what we're here for - helping others!
